    Yesterday my good wife spent half the morning preparing a full roast dinner with all the trimmings..gratefully received.
    Today though she made a bubble and squeak due to an excess of cabbage, leaks etc.
    For me there isn't much better than a well made B&S.
    No need for any meat, this wartime essential is one of my favorite meals and i guess not something many youngsters would choose!

      Are you kidding I love Bubble and squeak. At Christmas I make patty with turkey sprouts potatoes and add bacon too. Yummy.

          My friend thinks he's really clever. He said the onion is the only fruit\veg item that can make you cry. So I threw a coconut at his face.
