According to my son who resides in America, Trump has done more for the people than we hear in Britain. He also says black people have been treated well by him. Biden on the other hand is about to reverse what Trump has achieved and is also known to be racist.

Trump may well have payed less tax than you, he hasn't accepted an income as President I believe.

Ridicule, allegations, rumours and expansion of them into worse, never does. Truth, facts, even handedness is not something that usually looked on with enthusiasm as it's less interesting and so is either discounted or comes last:doh::dunno::cat-kittyandsmiley::coffee:.

I don't disagree with you that Trump's behaviour is awful in that, and many other regards. However in relation to the post that I answered @pete with, this is little more than 'whataboutery' really. Neither of them are fit for the office concerned. As far as I am concerned, the Americans have just voted to put a fire out with standard unleaded petrol rather than super unleaded petrol.

Sorry Sheal, but do you honestly believe that? Coming from someone who is prepared (through his lawyers) to try to drive an old woman from her home in order to not be a blot on his golf course? AFAIC, he has absolutely no morals, and couldn’t give a damn about ‘the man in the street’. Dig a little deeper, and you’ll see the underhand stuff he’s done. In his battle with Jeff Bezos, he (Trump) sacked the guy in charge of the postal service, and put his own guy in charge. Kinda ironic, given the postal vote has gone against him.

An awful lot of people voted for Trump, apparently the Hispanic and black vote increased, I'm not sure we were ever fed the real truth regarding Trump on this side of the Atlantic.
Trump's biggest mistake was making an enemy of the media, which he did from day one.

After that he was never going to be shown in a good light whatever he did.

Must admit I never liked his attitude.

Will biden be any better, I doubt it, but then I suppose we will get the same old story we got when good old Mr nice guy Obama was in and achieved nothing.
Another lame duck president has been mentioned.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m all in favour of shaking things up a bit, but it has to be for the right reasons, and the right aim. Trump liked to mention the ‘swamp’. AFAIC, he took the swamp to new depths.
The only thing he was good (?) at, was slagging-off everyone else. Anything he didn’t like was labelled “fake news”. His term is littered with sackings, which doesn’t say much for his judgement (he hired them in the first place). Biden? We’ll have to wait and see.

An American President of today's era gets a salary of $400,000 plus a extra expenses account of $50,000. Trump does donate his salary every quarter to Charity purely out of the goodness of his heart and not for any tax reasons where receiving a salary could open a tax investigation into his now "family run" businesses........

and because he tells no lies I believe him when he says he's a Genius, has an IQ that amazes all the Doctors, (you can take that either way),

“You know, I’m, like, a smart person.” “I am a really smart guy.” “I’ve been known as being a very smart guy for a long time.” “I have a very good brain and I’ve said a lot of things.” “I’m intelligent. Some people would say I’m very, very, very intelligent.” “And then people say oh, is he a smart person? I’m smarter than all of them put together, but they can’t admit it.” “My IQ is one of the highest — and you all know it! Please don’t feel so stupid or insecure; it’s not your fault.” “My two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart…. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star, to President of the United States (on my first try). I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius….and a very stable genius at that!”

“I was the best baseball player in New York when I was young.” “I always knew I was good. I was always good at it. I was the best athlete.” “I was always the best athlete, people don’t know that.” “I’ve won many club championships and I was always the best athlete.” “Always the best player. Not only baseball, but every other sport too.” “I was good at wrestling. I was really good at football. I was always good at sports. I was always the best at sports.” “I had it [innate ability]. I always had it.” “I like being a great athlete.”

“I have more respect for women by far than Hillary Clinton has.” “Nobody respects women more than me.” “I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women more than anybody in the construction industry.” “There’s nobody who has done more for equality than I have.” “Number one, I am the least anti-Semitic person that you’ve ever seen in your entire life. Number two, racism, the least racist person.” “I am the least racist person that you have ever met.” “I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered.” “I am the least racist person, the least racist person that you’ve ever seen, the least.” “I have a great relationship with the blacks.” “I have a great relationship with African Americans, as you possibly have heard. I just have great respect for them. And they like me. I like them.” “And did you know my name is in more black songs than any other name in hip-hop? Black entertainers love Donald Trump.” “And at the end of four years, I guarantee you, that I will get over ninety-five percent of the African-American vote. I promise you.”

Well, Gosh, I believe him and I think you couldn't want to meet a more honest, self effacing, kindly, noble, benevolent, charitable, truthful person.

I stand corrected, re salary. Not surprised there was an ‘angle’ though. Re sport, apparently he likes to cheat when playing golf. It seems to be well-known amongst the ranks. Has he no shame? As a golfer myself, I find this mind-boggling, the only one he’s cheating is himself.
