What we used to call cartoons, right now, Huckle berry hound and yogi bear would be classed as exceptional viewing.

Toy story, as adult viewing has got to be a joke.:ywn:

For what it's worth, I will watch VERY little over the so-called Festive Season. Thank goodness I have plenty else to occupy my time without that thing on. WHAT happened to good family fun and games at this time of year instead of the box and like many years ago when some of us were kids without so much as a tv?

    I haven't seen much T.V over Christmas.
    Thank Goodness.
I did have a look through the menu and what was on offer I wasn't interested or impressed.
We did all have a rest on Christmas night when the children had gone to bed, after a strenuous few hour on the Wi we needed it. :D
We saw the Royal Family which was very funny.
Other than that it looks like repeats or rubbish.
    As Usual.

We also missed a load accidentally on purpose, saw the Royle Family-good but I thought not up to standard-although my kids keep saying to us as they lie back-you can`t decline a recline Jimbo-so they liked it.

I was a bit disappointed with the Royle Family too! Was Denise pregnant? Have Denise & Dave got more than 'Little David' now? You can tell how I'm not really into this programme can't you?:)

I haven't seen one bit of TV so far that has made me go 'wow'. Maybe as Mikkel says, we should switch off, but what do you do if you haven't got kids around? I knew I should have had lots of kids and right now I could be moaning about being exhausted!

    Seasons greetings.

They have the baby girl-they called Norma after Nanna, in The Queen of Sheba episode-that was a classic! And I think Caroline Aherne is up the proverbial duff though.

How did I miss that! Must have missed last years. Thank you Lolli, I remember the one where Nanna wasn't there. What year was that? How much have I missed? Blimey!

    cheers

Yes I agree the Royal programme has gone a bit stale for me , I enjoyed Johnny Depp last night in the pirates of the caribean only because I didnt see it before and because the footy was on straight after :yho:

Oh no, I missed it! Would have been very apt....
Did watch HANSEL AND GRETEL - great.
OKLAHOMA - not bad, lovely dance routines.

    NICHOLAS NICKLEBY - reasonable adaptation.

Hogfather was great, although not sure about David Jason being cast as Albert. Also have Doctor Who recorded but not had a chance to watch it yet.

I never watch the Royale's. I have observed it for 45 seconds, I fail to see what is amusing.
I watched Dr who, you just must, but in a way i wished i hadn't, bitterly dissapointing.

To mention the truth, this whole Christmas has been a non event.

I have to agree about Dr Who.
I was looking forward to it and was disappointed.
I reckon Lark raise to Candleford for me was the best over the holiday period.

As DAG said, potentially 1000 channels and nothing much going on ........ Wait till the new year starts with the new series of all the different programmes.

If you are stuck for something to watch (TV series/films etc) , have a look at www.surfthechannel.com , you do not need to download the films, as they stream to your computer (a bit like Youtube). You can watch old tv series/films and loads more besides. Just click on the 'CHANNEL' button on the nav bar :thumb:

Thank you webmaster & lolli for some suggestions. Being stuck at home with the absolutely ***** tv has driven me mad. I seriously think the tv stations (or whatever they are called these days) should get really heavy fines for repeating stuff - they even have the cheek to call stuff new just because it hasn't been shown on that actual channel but one of their lesser ones, aaarrrwww.

I think I would have gone bonkers without this site and t'internet!!

    cheers
