I've got a thing about this at the moment ...

Is it just me or does everybody like these so-called French manicure nails that are overly long and plastic?

I have naturally very long fingernails by choice which I manicure daily if not two or three times and I used diamond or glass nailfiles which are wherever I am (and I pedicure twice a week) .... but I cannot abide these squared plastic obscenities (for lack of a better word). Do women really 'function' with these things attached to their hands ?????? I dread to think of some situations ......

Any thoughts out there ... male or female ????

Can't abide the square plasticky looking nails and I cannot understand why anyone would want them.
The glue they use damages the live nail underneath it all. Those nails look unnatural.

I have good strong nails and there is no-way anyone is going to stick plastic imitations, all square and lumpy looking on my nails.

There....that's me off my soap box for now.:flag:

I have a name for them "cashier nails"-I`ve lost count of how many times I have had to stand waiting for someone to manouevre( how is that spelt again?!) their way round the coppers I get back in change, but I do understand people trying to take a pride in their appearance so it doesn`t wind me up that much.

Me-I haven`t got nails-far too busy with my hands in mud in summer or pastry in winter. Now people who cook with rings on YEUCK!!

I'd be glad of any finger nails.
The only time I have any is after a 2 week holiday.
What with work the garden and everything else, they just can't take my life style. LOL:lollol:
