Can I chop it off!!

    Hi has anyone any idea what this growth is coming out of this unnamed tree please and can it be cut off? it seems to be taking over the tree. thanks

    Looks like a flower stalk on a cordyline, yes you can snip it off. Personally I would wait as you might like the flower colour

      flower, leave it on once it finishes flowering cut it off loved by bees , you will have two new growing points ... so will look more Bushey
