    Hi all,

I need to buy a pressure washer but a fairly substantial one as there is a lot of paths and patio to do. In the research I've done I would prefer an integral detergent dispenser plus a pressure of at least 110 bar.

Not have used one before any advice would be welcome.

    Thanks

Hi HBC, Mr 02 bought one recently, a Karcher k2.900m 110 bar 1400watt and detergent, which he bought of bid TV with all the tools for £99.99. Hes very happy with it. I think they sell them in B&Q but its worth while shopping around. Good luck. 02

We have a Karcher too, hubby loves it-I can`t comment I never use it myself but he is obsessed with keeping the driveway and patio pristine and he would have returned it if he felt it was no good.

If possible buy a petrol one, machine mart do a good range as do landy presure washers. £500 or so will get you something good at around 150 bar.

My own is an industrial 13 hp honda 250 bar machine 13 lpm, around £1500 Bought for an ofshoot business venture that ive never pursued although I frequently use it. Capale of taking off paint etc and cleans very quickly, I can clean 500m2 or more a day with ease

Flipping heck PG, you dont do anything by half do you. I think even £500 is out of my price bracket but having been to B&Q and Homebase I'm not convinced by what I saw. More research is due.

I like the look of this Karcher

and the price is nearer what I can justify

Any thoughts on buying a T racer ar the same time ( cut down on the grime)

    Thanks all

I bought a Kärcher about twenty years ago for my decorating business. A customer asked about painting the tyrolean finish on his bungalow (not a good idea), I persuaded him that it should be cleaned to get the algae off. The Kärcher did the job and brought it up like new. I still have it although it doesn't get used very often (I've been retired for 14 years).
