My username derives from the days when I was a bus service controller, and let's be honest I am not exactly a slim-Jim, hence fat controller...

 

He does cute so well - too well in fact.

 

Thank you I am trying not to lie down to the blighter as I want to get back to some sort of normality sooner rather than later. Our wee man has a bit of an uppy tummy since I came home, which we are thinking is the stress coming out, but otherwise he is doing fine so we are not overly concerned.

Heart scan tomorrow, as well as GP getting their input as well, so let's see what tomorrow brings

 

Well, you lot are going to be sick and tired of me before long... signed off for a month minimum, so I will be knocking about her quite a bit I think.

 

Echocardiogram showed moderate pressure/strain on the right side of my heart but the guy doing the scan thought it could be because the clots are still lurking; apparently, they can take a few weeks to disperse, so it is likely I will be called back for a further scan in a month or so.

Something quite interesting came out in conversation with him though - he was telling me about a series of scans he had been doing recently on a patient in the hospital who had a fairly large clot in his heart that had (he said thankfully) attached to a pacemaker wire. Apparently this clot was discovered after the guy took ill a week after having the AstraZenica vaccine - he couldn't say with 100% certainty that it was the vaccine, but reckoned it was too much of a coincidence to ignore. Seems to be something in it, because out of all the doctors etc I saw in hospital, only one thought that I shouldn't have been refused the vaccine and even she said that the AstraZenica would be a definite no-no because of my history with clots.
