Can't make up my mind if you meant Chamber Pot ... no, didn't think so

 

Don't they say, if you want to reduce your carbon footprint and protect the environment, then follow the 3 R's Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, in that order.

I read the book "Plastic free: and how I kicked the habit and How you can" - actually I owned it for a long time before I read it, assuming I was going to be beaten over the head and preached at. This book isn't that, it (to me) is an incredibly impressive story of someone who decided to use no plastic in her life. She started back in 2005 or something like that ... before it was even a thing.

She doubles up on the 3 R's ...

Start with Refuse (as in "Say no" rather than garbage!)

and

Replace - with something non-plastic
Remember - when plastic wasn't omnipresent
Repair
Report - she has taken issue with companies - e.g. the plastic filter cartridges in Brita water filter jugs, which she successfully persuaded to take back for recycling, until then they had been use-and-chuck
Rally - problem too big for one person? Well then you need more than one on your team

and most important, she says, is "Realise"
