1F5C9261-B9F0-4F40-AD68-3D573ECDD5E9.jpeg I have had this plant for quite a few years. It is pretty much evergreen and when it flowers, seldom! it flowers, mauve, very early in the season, around the time that Snowdrops flower. It is fairly slow to bulk up and I remember when I bought it I was dubious as to it’s hardiness. It might be difficult to identify just from a leaf. It is low growing no more than about 4 inches high. I will recognise the right name if some genius can identify it!

Spot on @Silver surfer:yay: many thanks it has been annoying me that I could not remember the name. It is very pretty but annoyingly shy to flower. Maybe I should move it to a sunnier spot to see if that will improve matters?

    Glad to help.

    They are slow. Be patient.
Eeeck! I wouldn't recommend moving it to a sunny spot.
    It needs shade in summer!

Oh!:). It is under a very large Olearia Macrodonta, so gets a fair amount of shade, perhaps it is more a moisture issue? I have had the plant for maybe 4 years. It has at least doubled in size but very few flowers sadly.I read it does not like to be moved so maybe I will just live in hope!
