    Hi Woo,

    They look like Blewits, if they are, then they are prized edibles.

    Don't eat one yet, can you cut the stem off one & put it gill side down on a piece of white paper.

    It will make a spore print over night, then we can see what colour that is.

    In the meantime, i'll go thru the book and check any possible confusion with others.

    Can't beat a weird mushroom.

    I found a Stinkhorn Fungus on my oak stump a couple of years ago, looked quite rude :D

    Good Morning Woo,

    Thats odd, were looking for a pale pink. If there is not a rusty brown print, then thats a good sign.

    Have a look in the sunlight with a magnifying glass, it should have left something.

    Im off to the woods now, see what I can find.
