Laser projectors - yes or no?

We're thinking about upgrading our current projector to an ultra short throw 4K UHD laser projector.

At the moment, we're going to stick with Optoma. They seem to make reliable and good quality kit and at a reasonable price - so the Cinemax P2 is on the radar.

Anybody any experience of other projector manufacturers? Has anyone got a laser projector and if so what do you think of it?

 

Im no help but watching the LasPalmas eruption right now projected onto the wall.
