Sorry to post this! Mouse droppings? Or something else? They're much more round than typical mouse poo!
Found inside one shoe, no where else :thud:

I have no idea  idon't think so though. I've hoovered the room where the shoes were and found nothing anywhere else.
The shoes are new but I've worn them once and I think I'd have noticed them previously.
      Given me the heebies :help:

Unless the mouse has a rare personal condition, my vote goes for seeds or bat droppings. I can see at least two pairs clearly connected. They almost look like mini unripe cones of something... but no growth point to connect them to a plant if they were indeed seeds. That'd hint towards animal dropping.

Mouse droppings are bigger, smoother and a bit more elongated.

Are there any decorative plants nearby? A Christmas basket with stems with berries or similar?

Do the droppings crumble? This website says "Unlike mouse droppings, bat droppings crumble easily."

        Interesting question, thanks @Snowbaby :)

The shape is what confused me. It's not typical mouse poo shape. Can't be a bat, def no bats in the house.

I didn't try to crumble them.
I'm completely stumped. I've pulled apart the room the shoes were in and there's no evidence anywhere else.
I've also checked and hoovered the other 3 rooms upstairs - nothing.

There were no plants near, I don't have any indoor plants.
All I can think of is this must have been inside the shoe upon purchase but I'm so sure I would've noticed this! I've worn them once in November but not since.
          So bizarre!!
