It is 21f -6c so we are getting a bit of a break from the bitter cold.

My jab site is only a little sore and certainly no worse than the vaccine which means it is 1000% nicer than the last one!

I'm going to finish updating the contact list for my ladies social group, distribute it by email, print it to hand out at our next get together and then shut down the computer until lunch time.

I've got puttering and playing in the potting soil to do

Oops... Good morning everyone , sorry but I thought I had already posted on here.

Well a mix bag of weather here today , currently it's foggy and ......dull!

A day of 'light' housework and probably more seed sowing.

Disrupted day as hubs has a lunchtime hospital app, so will have to rearrange our meals to fit around it.

Knee still disappointingly playing up, so a bit disheartened.

Still I'm a lucky one compared to what is happening in the lives of many thousands.

I’ve got check up with the dentist at 2.30, the weather is rain for the next three days so can’t do anything in the garden sadly, but got a couple of items I want to paint.

still no sign of Moyra ? Hope she’s ok

Well....resting isn't necessarily the best healer when it comes to joints Flumpy, in fact to gently keep going is by far the best way to go, I can even feel a significant ceasing up and stiffness after sitting for just 30 minutes!! The best way is to tailor what and how I do things to match how my knee is behaving.
No doubt I'll get there, just need more patience I expect .

Ho I see Upsydaisy you are quite correct . I’ve not seen Shiney lately too, doesn’t he know Moyra ? (As a friend) I mean ?

just got my mopping done and washing is in the washer, nearly time for dinner then it’s dentist (check up and scale and polish) then think I’ll put the bedding in the wash

I'm a bit late showing up this morning. It is still below freezing 28f -2c here but the sun is making an effort to penetrate the clouds. The guessers say it is going to get a lot colder for the next few days or so.

@Upsydaisy slow and gentle perhaps will have to be your mantra for the immediate future. Healing can be so unpredictable! Here's a piece of my fudge, that will take away the paining.

I've got bread dough going, watered all of the soil blocks, and read the news. And I'm being Hilda Ogden and with so much to do yet, I'll have to go under the dryer to speed things up.

I have a friend coming by today. Actually I've got somebody coming by everyday up to and including Monday. It will be nice to see them but they are all coming by around lunchtime so I guess I've got to figure out meals. Wasn't quite ready for that

Next Tuesday, I am seeing another friend but luckily we are meeting at a restaurant for a late breakfast But we are going to discuss her upcoming procedures to fight breast cancer and my role in helping her as she has no other relatives or close friends here who are able to help her.

Hello everyone sorry I have been AWOL. I have not been too good suffering with heart failure along with all my other problems. I am finding it so hard to communicate as my eye functions are pretty lousy. I hope everyone else is ok. Thank God I was trained as a touch typist and I sense immediately if I get the touch wrong. I was hoping to get my eyes sorted out but it seems to have ground to a halt. Take care everyone, my thoughts are with you all and our friends in the Ukraine too. God bless you all, Mo. xxxx

I hope they stabilise your heart issues, I think you were having tests done last we heard. Likewise that also get your eyes sorted soon too.

How's everyone today?

Thanks Lori for the fudge ,greatly appreciated indeed..

I have a hospital app. this morning but the laundry is all done and waiting to be hung out when I get back. We might also stop off and hubs will get a few groceries too, I might join him but will see how I feel.
Main job on my list is to give the kitchen a 'good' wipe down...this means moving all our counter jars and pots and not just wiping round them .

Not sure if I have any seeds to sow today will have to check my gardening calendar.
