    Hi,

Been a long while since I was on here, so I have come out the potting shed and into the garden.
We have now moved to a Bungalow so as my back does not have to cope with stairs, and the size of my garden has been drastically reduced to make sure I do not stray to far from prying eyes.
Had a Shed and Greenhouse built for me so I can wander from one to the other without to much damage.
All security and staging is complete, with a few plants to keep me going. I have ordered more to ensure colour and spread through the summer, but have also some which have held over from last year like a potted geranium I do like so will split.
They have retired me from my Job on the Railway and thus more time to do what I want.
Feel really awkward as I have stayed away for too long, only contact who has watched me from a distance is Louise Rowley-Spendlove who is not far from where we have set up home now.
I am not big on chat unless I have something to talk about, but am willing to now open up a bit more. My past has been somewhat BITSA, meaning bits of this and bits of that. The only stability has been the wife who puts up with my PTSD daily, she is a rock more like granite takes time to shape but strong.
Finally, I have put up some photos of what things are like in the Fenlands.
Look forward to being part of the community again.
    Regards

Hello @landimad , so happy to have you back with us again.:yahoo:

Exciting times ahead for you and your wife
in your new garden, a manageable size will allow you to continue gaining joy from gardening. When it's too big you can become a 'slave ' to it which in turn saps away the fun and enjoyment.

Looking forward to seeing more photos .:)

Thank you for those kind remarks, and I do hope that I do not drop off for so long now that I have more time on my hands.
Seems that there is another task I had forgotten to mention, this is that as I am unable to undertake most tasks save one. I can drive for ages without any issue to my condition thus am a volunteer driver for my council. I can take those who are unable to drive themselves to and from appointments for a small fee. Enough to pay that high price of fuel:yikes: and yet keep them from losing out on a bit of freedom.:fingers crossed:

                              Aww!! That's a very thoughtful gesture @landimad .

My brother is physically disabled but was also diagnosed with Alzheimer's a couple of years ago. As he lives alone he relied very much on his car but as this horrid disease takes hold of his brain it resulted in him having to give up his licence recently.

People like you are their lifeline to continuing with their lives. On behalf of my brother and all the other people that use your service I say a huge and heartfelt...
