Thrips on rose?

    Can anyone ID if these are thrips please? Not got wings like white fly, look more like little grasshoppers. I only thought to look as there’s lots of yellow speckling to the upper leaves.     Whatever they are, they’ve pupated and flown off, to cause havoc elsewhere no doubt :rolleyespink:

    They look a bit thripsy. There is so many things that hide under the leaves, it's hard to keep track
