    Hello Everyone

I have two asters 'king george' and they were lovely this year. Now they have finished flowering so im wondering how much do i cut them back?

Iv looked in my big gardening book but all it says is 'cut back'! and mulch. Iv never grown these asters before so any help would be brilliant.

Thankyou and Hi to those who already know me :flwsml:

Right down the the ground, next year's stems will shoot up from the undrerground roots.

If they are big clumps, you can dig them up and split them up, and have lots more for next year.
