Why do the makers of this programme bother having the public vote if the final say is down to the judges?

I do appreciate that some of the money goes to charity but I thought that the whole point of 'Public votes' was to decide the outcome.

Pip it's all about getting the money in for each show not really the votes themselves I mean every show that promises something or other be it a game show or voting for a contestant its always the same....... it costs the viewer money if they are silly enough to take part. Hel.xxx.

I`m just glad Little Miss Listerine has gone, what on earth is attractive about gargling whilst you`re singing?-coz that`s what she sounds like. The best singer was voted out ages back-Rachel.

    Thank goodess Diana as gone.
The thought that she may have won.
I can't for the life of me understand how she got as far as she did.
It was like listening to cross between the the cats crying and screaming in the middle of the night and a yodleing frog.:lollol:
    I thought she was terrible.

    Who do we have left.
JLS ,another group, I can take or leave them.
Eoghan seems a nice lad I can see him in Musical theatre, but not a recording artist.
I'm not bothered who wins .
Alexandra is the best by far as a singer.
But I think she will do well if she wins or not.

    But what do I no.:D

I`m not the only one then Lyn, phew-couldn`t abide her voice, whether she was singing or doing her sobbing and pleading routine.

As they say, different strokes for different folks ...

I'm a product of the Flower Power Era ... and proud of it ... Diana had something I remembered ... barefoot and full of life (I am no different now and still drive barefoot) ... guess some things you can't grow out of and it's nice to see someone young interested in it.

I don't like 'Gloria Honeyford' as Q says .... and the boys don't cut it for me ... so it's got to be Alexander .... she does have a voice.

Looking forward to Saturday .... (but I'm out so will have to record) .... how sad is that .......... ?????????
