Blue Holly?

    Just appeared so bird seeded I guess, doing better than my scorched primroses behind it. Anyway a google search puts Blue Holly in the frame, what do you think?

    Pl@ntnet thinks your picture is Camellia sinesis and a general image search gave no matches. Do you have any Blue Holly near by that a bird could have got seed from?

    Pl@ntnet is im afraid wrong, the spikes on the leaves dont match, but thanks for your reply. I have no holly at all in my garden, no idea who might have locally.

    Pl@ntnet is often wrong, depends on the size/quality of the pictures, also if the plant is mature or old, what the background is. Also depends on people correctly identifying the pictures they upload to the database.

      I'm going to let this grow some more, its doing no harm where it is and I will revisit identifying for sure in the spring.
