Whats Your Weather Like April 2023

Sat outside for an hour in the sun listening to bird twitterings, a few prop. planes , the odd Ambulance and school children out in the playground ,
the longest time outdoors so far this year and my face is " glowing "

Sunny with the hint of a breeze, 23c.

 

Some rain overnight as forecast but just damp when we got up this morning. No more rain during the day, just cloudy with a light wind from the SW. No sunshine either! We had about 12C max today & we are forecast similar temps for tomorrow.

 

Drizzle for most of the day but slightly warmer at 7C/45F.

Correction ... J just told me our low was 13,7c and it is now 14,3c ... I was looking at his unit next to the bed earlier which is obviously useless!

Magnitude 3.7 earthquake felt this morning in the Algarve
An earthquake of magnitude 3.7 (Richter), whose epicenter was located on land, about 4 km northeast of Albufeira, was felt this morning, at 03:35:01 (local time) and recorded at the stations of the Mainland Seismic Network , announced the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere.
The earthquake was felt in the areas of Lagoa, Praia do Carvoeiro, Ferragudo, Portimão, Monchique, Silves, São Bartolomeu de Messines, São Marcos da Serra, Armação de Pêra, Albufeira, Paderne, Loulé, Almancil , Vilamoura, São Brás de Alportel, Faro, Montenegro and Olhão. There are also people who felt it further north, in Alentejo, namely in the areas of Ourique and Almodôvar.

We are apparently 16.4 miles from the epicenter.

Neither of us felt the earth move.
