Sometimes called the callicarpa "profusion" or beauty berry. Quite eye catching in the winter!

We have a few of them in our garden. Lovely plants :thumb: but suffer if they get too dry :(.

Lovely choice of shrub Roders:thumb:We have two of them in our garden and at the moment they are full of berries.I think they must be one of the most beautiful berried shrubs you can buy.

My advice would be to get another one though because where we used to live we had only one and it never did any good so when we saw them in our local nursery we went for the two priced at £9.99 each and have had plenty of berries since.By having two it helps with the pollination when the flowers are open. The leaves are tiny and not really worth a mention but the berries are something else.

I put up some photos last year of mine on here but can't find where they have got to and can't find them in PB at the moment. If I can get out into the garden tomorrow I will take some more photo's to put on here to show you

Ours were about the same height as yours but four years later they are about 6ft tall.

Hope you have many years of joy out of them:thmb:

Scotkat, you will be able to find them again, they are very fashionable at the moment. B&Q had some earlier this week.

They are usually on sale in most garden centres but because the berries are out at this time of the year they sell very well. Just keep looking in the garden centres :thumb:
