Pete, I read somewhere that you can download and save
onto your computer but it is not possible to transfer to DVD.
Having said that I am sure somebody will know of a way you can do it :D

Youtube used to be like that but can be transferred to DVD now if you have
    the necessary programme installed.

Thanks jjordie, it seems a bit of a swiz:) if you can put it on your hard drive but you cant copy it.
I was under the impression that you could copy anything on your hard drive.

And how does it delete its self after six days?

If I uninstall "I player" can I stop it deleting, or does it delete during the uninstall process.

Its just that my PC screen is small and not good for watching TV progs:)

Well I am all, for, making the BBC angry, they make me angry often enough.

The stupid thing is, if I had set the DVD recorder to catch it Friday night of the telly, none of this copyright stuff would have mattered.

Thanks for looking it up for me jjordie, wether or not I go down that road at the moment, I'm not sure.

There is usually a way round the DRM, if it's only playing in realtime and recording the transient signal or sound.

Sorry not to have read this before. You do need a program which can record video (like from a camera).

    Thanks for the help folks.

I've given up on it now.
I thought it might be easy, but it gets a little complicated.:)

Oh yes it would! But whether you are bothered, or whether the BBC would be bothered to find you etc. etc. etc., is a different matter of course.

It was on TV the other night, that Performing Rights weren't interested in private individuals for their own use, but they are VERY interested in people SELLING pirated copies.
