    They look a bit like sarcococca but it's leaves are usually more pointed - and it does flower in the winter. So probably not that! :noidea:

    All plants produce flowers...eventually.
    Sarcoccoca leaves are quite varied depending on which sp it is.

      Sarcoccoca have insignificant flowers in the winter but they give off a very strong sweet fragrance.

        Zooming it there appear to be long flowering stalks. If so then that rules out Sarcoccoca.

          Thanks folks. It's I'm my in laws garden so I only have their word that it hasn't flowered!! It looks to me as if it should/ would have a flower. I'm asking as thinking of taking a cutting but want to know what I'd be letting myself in for!
