Hello & good morning everybody. A cooler end to yesterday & a fresher feel today to kick off the new working week.

It seems that this week will be a little cooler than the past week or so.

At present we have about 14C going up to around 24C with sunny intervals rather than wall to wall sunshine

Cloudy and a gentle breeze from the south west temp 16c feels like 17c

 

Some low misty clouds around but the sun is out.

6mm in the rain gauge.

 

Sunny intervals but much cooler. Garden happy with yesterday's rain - at least 7 hours of it.
No plant damage anywhere ,

Very envious but also remaining grateful for our just over an hour of constant drizzle.

I've just edited my earlier post to add yesterday's rain, I got 6mm.
Which has done little to wash in the growmore I scattered on the veg plot early yesterday.
Oh well, might get the hosepipe out.

 

That's probably what we had too pete, we're pinning our hopes on tomorrow.

 

Well we had the rain and according to SWMBO it was most of the night, Broad Beans flattened, same with the Poppies and Lupins, Roses look like someone's been through them with a tennis racket, but the French beans are growing the water butts are full, so is the wildlife pond. Only downside, I swear I can hear the grass growing.
