Gentle westerlie here and quite overcast, chance of more rain, at least I got all the grass cut yesterday.

Sunny with some high cloud, breezy and just squeaking under 29c.

 

I'm getting used to this now, it felt really cool earlier at 22c, its 27 now and beautiful, bit of a breeze blowing.

 

It's hot. It's been hot since early May. We had heavy showers this morning but it is still hot and the showers have made no difference at all, the place is bone dry and the sun is now glaring relentlessly at us again.

 

No more rain forecast for this month.
A chance of more on 3rd July? But not much.

A few showers of rain this morning but most of the day has been sunny and breezy. 18C/64F

 

15°C going on 23°C this afternoon, sunny and almost no breeze.

 

If last night's storm hasn't topped up the water table, nothing will. 45mm of rain in 30 minutes and plenty of lightning and thunder. It's largely flattened the wheat all around. It's now a calm, cool 20C with drizzle forecast all day. Midsummer's Eve, lovely

 

Good morning everyone The day is beginning here with a little cloud but the sky is fairly clear for the time being. Later the clouds are expected to increase with the MO app forecasting a 60% possibility of a thundery shower during the middle of the afternoon, between 4 & 5pm.

We had another dry, warm and sunny day yesterday and expect a similar day today. Temps expected to be in the mid 20sC again like yesterday.

 

@noisette47 I imagine the farmers will be quite upset over the damage done to their crops!

 

Well it seems that you may get your wish for some rain as I read earlier this morning there is some heavy rain on its way across Wales and north west England. It won't reach us though.

 

Morning Balc It's not ideal but the harvesters nowadays are adapted to lift flattened crops, so all is not lost Whether the grain will store well is another matter!
