    Hi All,

Just got back from Lidl, I know most will already know that this is the place for good very cheap stuff-as well as Wilkinsons, but there was another huge pile of fruit bushes there today. Thought I would let you all know.

Picked up a Forsythia, Wiegela, Sutters Gold Rose, a gooseberry, blueberry and redcurrant all 1.29 each. There were also some hebe`s there-small but 89p each, I think at that price we can all afford to be patient.

I doubt it BM, a lot of the stuff in Lidl is sourced on the continent and if you've ever been to Holland you'll see how much cheaper plants are to buy out there.

Are they? I`ll have to consider a quick trip.

Watched an old GW the other day, about the tulip show-they pull all the bulbs out and throw them away!!! I`m hanging round the bins next time.

I think it's the other retailers which rip us off. I haven't bought plants at Lidl but the cut flowers are exceptional value.

I shop at Lidl and wilkinsons, the poundshop, pound stretcher and all the other cheap shops.
I admit some have a lot of rubbish in them and you have to watch waht you buy.
But you can pick up some great bargains.
For the Garden home and presants.
