Whats your Weather Like July 2023

We a have a lot to be grateful for...this is what some of our extended family are putting up with this coming week.

 

A lovely morning with the sun, a breeze and 16c going to 30c and breezy today ... this I like! Might need a light sweater to hand.

 

Morning we have a breezy 16 degrees and a lot of cloud, dry at the moment.

 

Partlyl cloudy but the wind has lessened in strength .In the 30 mph range today...

Nice with a light breeze. Just coming up to 30c so have put the a/c on.

 

Surprisingly sunny here now after a fairly cloudy morning.

Although we did have a lot of strong wind yesterday we might have gotten lightly compared to others! The wind is still quite strong again today but not nearly as strong as yesterday.

There was nearly an hour of quite a lot of rain mid-morning at about the time I go downtown on a Saturday to do a little shopping. At 10am +/- we started to get some heavy rain, I thought at first it would be over in 10 mins but it continued & continued till I could wait no longer & left to catch a bus - only to find it had been cancelled! I thought I'd catch the next one which was only 10 mins later. I got to the stop with a full 5 mins to spare but the bus didn't turn up even after waiting an extra 5 mins. I ended up walking! fortunately the rain had eased off quite a bit by then & for the next 10 mins was only spitting a little.

I did the shopping & was returning home when I noticed a great big black cloud! Less than 5 mins later there was a big "CRACK" & I thought the skies are going to open at any moment & I'm going to get very wet - I still needed about 15 mins walk to get home! Fortunately for me I got home high & dry even though the cloud seemed to be following me!

Later the sun came out & we had a beautifully clear sky practically all pm!

We may have some more showers this pm. The temps is seems will be around average for this time of the year & there isn't much change forecast for the week ahead.

 

Not sure where this weather is heading.
It seemed calmer earlier, but the sky has turned milky white and the wind is gusting like yesterday, just blown the garden chair in the pond.
It never managed that yesterday.

 

Got to 31c but down to 29c now with a warn breeze.

 

About an hour of sunshine this morning but cloud cover for the rest of the day and windy. 15C/59F
