        Screenshot_2023-07-22-20-53-07.png Rain,rain and more torrential rain !!:yes::hapydancsmil::hapfeet: On the downside it arrived with very strong winds . We've just come in from attempting to rescue/ secure some plants, unfortunately the giant Lillies are very battered and bruised looking, I still moved them all into to greenhouse but their display is well and truly over with.So sad:cry3:.
        The winds are gradually calming down a little now, but the damage is already done to a lot of plants in full bloom....were in full bloom.:sad:

          I am sat here with a cashmere shaw wrapped around my shoulders. It is gloomy , wet and unseasonably cold.
          The outer toms need to brace themselves for a very challenging night.

            Yes @Jenny namaste , I apologize now in advance for passing on our gradually departing winds that are now heading east towards you.

            Must admit our tomatoes and cukes look as if they've be in a battle.Not too sure what injuries have been received but they all look a very sad sight.:sad:

              As it stands at the moment ( things will undoubtedly change I know) but tomorrow is our last completely dry day for the next fortnight!!

                  Yesterday was mild and breezy with sunshine until early afternoon and then a light drizzle on and off for the rest of the afternoon and early evening.

                  During the night the wind picked up but it remained dry. When I went out for my 4.30 a.m. walk the patio had dried up but the wind, not too strong, was nippy but I'm expecting a nice day.

                          All is good here as the sun is out and the garden is extremely happy from all of yesterday's watering.

                          I've also noticed that another dry day has crept quietly onto our forecast for Tuesday too.:)
