Whats your Weather Like July 2023

The rain arrived as forecast this morning at 6am on the Met Office app! Pretty punctual as well as when I looked out of the window at 5pm I saw it was raining - "lightly" - & that is how it has been all evening. Our temps today just barely made in into the 20sC!

According to the Met Office app - when I looked at the daily forecast for each day of the coming week - we can expect the weather to continue the same. Low, for the end of July/beginning of August, temps will continue as will the rain & the wind with some sunny intervals.

It's a warm start to the day here today, we have 17C at 6am! We are forecast a max of 19C from 9am till 2pm. Rain is expected around 1pm then the temps are forecast to start falling but not recover during the rest of the day! Not until 24 hours later will temps get any higher - even then they will only reach 20C!

Have we skipped summer this year?
Perhaps autumn this year has been brought forward

Calm, 18c going to the low 30s and breezy. High heat temp warning extended through Wednesday now.

 

They keep forecasting thunder here lately but we never seem to get any...thunder makes me nervous as we have so many trees around.

 

Keep forecasting thunder here too but nothing. Today it is cold and chucking it down. I see the Met Office have released data on rainfall for July and some places have suffered twice the July average. Preston in Lancashire has had to endure three times what they get in a normal July.
