    Gaz, I have so far managed to get two ripe 'stones', one for Marley and one for you. Hopefully the sun will stay strong enough for the remaining four pods to ripen so you can have more than one each! :)

    Have just caught up on this thread again, Sis, and that is great news that your Thevetia has seed pods that developed into stones. :gnthb: Fingers crossed that yours do next year, too. Strongy. I guess the sun and warmth down in Portugal did the trick for Sis.

    Re the colour, we only ever saw the peach coloured ones in Cyprus. If we did see a yellow one, then we probably thought it was a different shrub.

    I couldn't reply you earlier, because long time my account was inactive. I grow Thevetia peruviana In Poland. In my country are short summer, and winter temperature comes to -20 C. Thevetia peruviana we can put out about may and hide on winter in October. The most people with our forum grow Thevetia peruviana from seed. All of plant are max. two years. For example my, but still did not flower. I did not know conditions in what Thevetia peruviana Winter, my flowers In winter could died, because was too cold. On our forum (www.oleandry.pl) we write post only Polish, I put link to your forum and information what I found here. Our forum is small, but people grow Oleander.

    I recommend grow Thevetia peruviana form seeds. They grow in initial period very quickly , they slow down then. Not all seeds sprout , some can rot

    Gaz, mine germinated in two weeks in a prop box at 24c in summer.

    1. before sowing seeds wash in enough warm even hot water exactly
    2. before sowing seeds drench what the least 24 hour, but not more than 48
    3. Sow to finished the ground to sowing bought in shop , or to mixed from the ground to sowing in relation 4 pearlite:1 / the ground : pearlite.
    4. Before sowing the grounds disinfect , the straight in high temperature in oven
    5. earth to sowings should have about 25 temperature-27 degrees C and be enough moist
    we water / we bedew provide for moisture.
    6. Sow on depth seeds about 1-3 cm
    7. Container from seeds can be in dark place , but till moment sprouting seeds only, under condition that the temperature of the ground is about 25 - 30 C
    8. After we sprouting seeds we transfer it to bright sunny place. The temperature of surroundings should have about 25 C

    seeds have sprouted since 2 till 8 weeks
