    Hello chaps and chappettes,
I have come in search of your Genes! After my first year gardening ive become obsessed with breeding my own little landraces of toms, cuces and others to best suit our climate in a small hampshire garden. Im rather young (20s) so im thinking itll be a good lifetime investment
Unfortuntely most of the big breeding forums are full of yanks! Lovely people and good sources of information and so on but much is obsolete for the UK: different seed sources, diseases, etc. And with brexit seed importing is now rather difficult (rightly or wrongly).

Im mostly here for tom and physalis information, and ill share my findings.
    Thanks for reading!

Hello, and welcome from a very soggy Belgium!
Your challenge to develop tomatoes sounds fascinating! I only grow a heritage French mini tomato (the fruit, definitely not the plant!) “yellow pear”, although this year we grew tomatillos for the first time.

I lived in high Wycombe for many years, with the challenging chalk and flint. Now we have nearly pure sand!
