I want to send a plant to someone but the last time I sent one with Royal Mail it took 9 days to arrive, and that was their FIRST CLASS delivery.
Does anyone know if there's there a better way ?

Strangely enough I've never found a problem with RM.
You could try Evri, but lots of people don't like them either.
Parcel sending seems to have become a lottery.

UPS is pretty good and easy to use. You can do everything online and either book them to collect the parcel from you or leave is in your nearest drop- off point which is usually a corner shop (find the nearest on UPS website).

Our nearest used to be Boozebuster but they closed so now it's Nugents News and Nosh. Social climbing!

We use Evri fairly regularly. Arrange it, and pay for it, online and drop it off at the local Co-op. We print the labels ourselves - from the labels they put on our screen.

You need to package it fairly well and the charges depend on weight and size of package. As we only sell books that part is easy for us.

If we drop it off before noon it is usually there the next day or the day after. If you decide to use them then just be careful about which box you tick. You want it delivered to the house and not to the nearest drop off point - there's no difference in cost.

I have my repeat medicines delivered by the 48 tracked delivery from RM and I dont remember them ever not turning up on the correct day, and I get e mails when they receive to package and another when it will be delivered plus another saying when its been delivered.

We never have issues with delivery of parcels to us, regardless of who the couriers is. However. we do have issues when we send out parcels. My experience is, it's more to do with the depot and the drivers within certain postcodes that cause the issues with having "a don't care attitude".

These two sites below all you to do a comparison of which courier is the cheapest with estimated delivery times.

I've had so many issues I now won't use Royal Fail or Parcel Farce.. and I am not wild about Evri (Evri Parcel Lost) either; I use DPD Local and so far, they've been 100% reliable.
