    Hello all

    I hope you are Well.

I have a Small Fern growing in the Front Garden which I am looking to Move, slightly.

When the Fern was Planted, in 2019, the Border was quite Narrow, since then the Border has been Widened and now the Fern looks wrong, positionally speaking.

I just want to Move the Fern Forward to position it more Centrally in the Border.

What is the Best way to Move a Small Fern?

    Thanks in advance

    Kevin

Many Ferns are just showing signs of new fronds emerging , so now is a good time to both relocate them and if big enough divide them, usually just slicing them in half etc.

Never found they need anything special in being moved, though some extra compost and fertiliser in the planting hole does help them re-establish.

      Hello @ricky101

      Thanks for the Reply.

I have just been out and Moved the Fern, I had to Dig quite a Large Hole to get the Fern out but it is now Moved, so, all Good.

I have added BF&B and Watered it Well, hopefully it will be Fine.

The Fern is not Big enough to warrant Dividing so I have left it as is.

      Thanks

      Kevin
