Gas or Electric fire

    I'd also recommend an oil filled radiator. I've got one in my outside office (aka a converted garage) and it works a treat.

    I think they're also more efficient than an electric one since the heat is stored by the oil. I use a DeLonghi Dragon 3.

    More people are killed with faulty electrical fires,faulty electic blankets caused over 5,000 fires last year with 19 fatalities,manufacturing faults on motor cars cause many deaths,nothing is 100% safe we just tur a blind eye to most things,Iagree you shoul fit a carbon monoxide detector when fitting any combustion type heating device.

    Perhaps walnut, but as carbon monoxide is odourless it is particularly deadly as its afects ie diziness etc are not asociated.
