    Hi
I ve just migrated over from gardeners world and, as a relative beginner, used that forum quite a lot .
I think I propogated this one ( see pix) from a cutting , but can’t be certain ( guess who didn’t put a name label in!). I think it’s a salvia . Anybody confirm ?

The leaves look salvia-ish, but the stem l'm not so sure of.
Can you remember if you took cuttings from other plants at the same time ?

If you can remember what other types of cuttings you took, perhaps they could be eliminated.

With luck someone can confirm if it is a salvia, I'm really not sure :th scifD36:

Leaves don't look like Salvia to me. Try to rub one leaf between your fingers and smell it. Salvias have a strong, distinctive scent.

Could it be a Fuchsia cutting @MrHappyDays? The toothed leaves suggest it might be.

I'm not sure it looks like a Salvia cutting either. Do you remember the Salvias that you took cuttings from? Were they from your garden? Not all Salvia leaves have a very strong scent.

My first thought was Fuchsia too but I’ve never taken Salvia cuttings so more on instinct than experience

Don't think it is a salvia. The leaves don't look right too bright and smooth green.
Salvia have opposite leaves, squarish stems and the foliage is often scented when rubbed or crushed. The leaves are often hairy, textured and distinctive veins.
Maybe fuchsia, assuming you took fuchsia cuttings of course.

If it is Salvia Hotlips, the leaves will definitely smell .
