    Will the newly adjusted base rate of 4.5% affect our savings rate? Only I might take a hit on the 2% transaction fee to secure 3.5% if the BoE continues to massage the free falling economy by adjusting base.

    It might be worth it BM, I'm thinking of taking out a loan, then spending it all recklessly, then the govt will step in and rescue me.

    Yep, apparently on the strength of our investment Iceland have renewed Kerry Katona's contract for another 6 months !:wink:
