What's your weather like APRIL 2024

A overcast grey day windy with a high of 15c.

 

I'm sat indoors and I'm quite cold.
Looks like it'll be less windy and brighter here tomorrow, but still only a maximum of 12⁰.
It's just not on is it? By April it should be bikini weather - I haven't even dug out my gardening flip flops yet!

 

Dare I say it, 20c but with a very gusty wind and hazy sunshine.
Tomorrow doesn't look so warm but if the sun is out it makes all the difference this time of year.

 

Bright, sunny, light breeze and 23C. At last!! We had lunch outside on the newly cleaned terrace and the newly cleaned and oiled teak table. Fab.

Tomorrow is the day L'Asphodèle committee members spend the morning preparing all the "achards" - spiced pickled veggies - for next week's plant fair food stand and in the pm, after a pot luck picnic lunch, we are joined by members to make kokebanas which are this year's decorations. It goes without saying that it's expected to be cool, grey, a naughty north-easterrly wind and a high of 20C in shelter. Not too bad tho.

 

You in a bikini would make us all crack up.

I'm saving mine until it gets properly hot.

 

Been a bit mixed today. Foggy start, then overcast, now sunny but with a chilly breeze. However, mustn't grumble as it is much better than of late, with the exception of yesterday which was sunrise-to-sunset glorious!

 

Sunny intervals and a moderate breeze from the west south west temp 14c feels like 13c the hawthorn is starting to flower.

 

Lovely day, got to 27c with a nice breeze, now 25c with hazy sun.

 

A beautiful 21 degrees today. I have even got a red face after being outside all day.

 

It turned a bit chilly after all the promise of a good weather day.
I have my fluffy socks and fleece on tonight. Again.

Good morning. 13C, and clouds with sun later on. Looks like we will have a fairly good week ahead and it gets warmer again from Thursday on.



The BBC says the High from the Atlantic comes towards us and that would probably mean it stays there for a few weeks?
I personally don't hope so because that means change to bad weather first week of June, but we will be in Cornwall at that time visiting the gardens.
