        @Obelix-Vendée Mainly the height :biggrin: I did the traditional, roundish lumps but in future will make them more 'rosti' shaped to avoid the mixture sticking to the roof.....
        The only time I really miss the DFF is when I want to cook crispy beef strips, but as it required a change of oil each time, I'll learn to live with that :)

            I was amazed - two cars and a van, doing door to door enquires! Normally, I'd have expected it to be a case of them being given a crime number over the phone and that be it.

                        They may do - as they are the neighbours we don't get on with, we have as little to do with them as possible, so I couldn't say. It definitely doesn't help that they have pee'd off almost the entire street, so folks tend to ignore them and any comings and goings at their house.
