My clematis are rather bedraggled, when will this rain stop?

This one, group 3, doesn't have a name, it was a number on it's label, now lost.

Kermesina, also group 3, just coming out.

Such a variety of cultivars! Here's my Clematis patens Caroline's first flower, only planted last year.

Can't remember what this one is called, Niobe? although I think someone I.D. it last year. Looks good with the Zephirine Drouhin rose at the moment. 20240530_210702.jpg

My clematis Kermesina and unknown have grown quite a lot since the last photo. Arabella is coming out now. Etoile Violette is covered in buds but not out yet so no photo.

The sky is blue this morning, at last.

I forgot to mention that following my disappointment over Guernsey Flute I went to the garden centre and bought Ninon last weekend. It seems very similar except the flowers are smaller, which I think I prefer on a smaller plant. It is now planted in a pot with an obelisk. Has anyone else grown Ninon? It is not one that I had heard of before.

Oh I forgot.. 'The Vagabond'.. in a howling gale today.. can't get any more blooms in the pic.

Thanks @Mrs Hillard, photography is not my strong point but I'll try. Agree about Kermesina.

My Clematis 'Maria Skłodowska Curie' planted 2 years ago is making slow progress. It takes quite a few days for its very double flowers to open out, but well worth the wait.
