Yes i think that the Bee Gees were great. It would have been Richard Carpenter who would have arranged it, Karen would have been great at singing it, she could sing anything.

 

Saw Bruce in Sunderland last night, freezing cold and pouring with rain, but 3 hours of absolute brilliance.

 

I'm not really a Springsteen fan @Punkdoc , but I have the utmost respect and admiration for him and his legacy. I enjoyed the tracks I heard from his recent covers album. He was awarded the Ivor Novello fellowship last night [?] - the first international artist to receive it. Macca presented the award, and it was very funny. The Glasto set when The Boss was onstage with him was truly excellent.
RAYE got an award too- thoroughly deserved.

 

Yeah, just read speech, brilliant. Pleased for Raye too, I love her voice.

 

She's great isn't she? So many really talented singer/songwriters around just now.
K.T.Tunstall got an award too. I love her work.
I'm currently listening to old Steve Harley stuff in the car, and Neil Hannon/Divine Comedy in the house when the radio isn't on.
