It’s raining here … but what a wonderful morning

 

Just wait for those promises they can't keep.

 

Rishi talking about an orderly handover with goodwill, etc, as though he is personally organising this, is a bit much. In the UK, a smooth change of administration is the norm (so far) and he is handing over scorched earth.

 

Has much been promised? Apart from "change", of course, which could mean anything.

 

Much like the last Labour Chancellor and his "No money left" note when they were kicked out.

Not many people out and about this morning it's so quite i thought we were in lock down again

 

Public services are on their knees and water quality has deteriorated. More children are living in poverty and food bank use is its highest ever. The housing market is broken, both the private and rental sectors. That is the scorched earth. Labour didn't leave that kind of mess behind in 2010.
