awwww cool! honestly you'll be surprised at how quickly frogs and toads seem to 'sniffout' any body of water
you might want a small pump though just to keep things moving so the water doesnt stagnate spesh during the summer months when natural water movement is minimal. installing it and creating the form of a mini waterfall will look (and sound) fantastic

Thanks everyone. I must take a pic of it finished. Just gotta add the planting now when it all arrives

Riverside I did wonder about the water stagnating and becoming a mosquito breeding ground but where I got my ideas from never had any moving water so I didn't bother with any. Well at least If I do put one in it'll be easy to sort the electrics as the workshop is close by

Thanks Sar. The weather's been lovely but I took all the garden seating down to rub down and oil up so there's no where to sit properly lol. Here's the pic of the pond finished just need the plants to arrive and some little visitors.

Next door put a frog/toad over the wall the other day but I don't think it stayed

My hubby is putting a low fence round it now cause the dogs keep drinking the water out of the pond.
