Hello to you all - New Garden

Hi there,

We have recently moved to the highlands from Oxfordshire and built a new house so the garden is just beginning to take shape, we made a veggie plot at the beginning of this year but haven't had a great deal of success. I'm looking for help and info about when things should be planted and harvested and what will be successful up here in the north. Should I invest in a greenhouse to start things off due to the shorter season? I have lots of questions which I don't want to bore you with so any general advice would be great and I could then ask more specific questions to the experts out there.
