daisys and buttercups

I'm at a standstill at the moment regarding the gardens due to the weather but it's giving me time to properly plan things through, when the gravel is fully back fresh top soil (donated by father in law) is being mixed with the stuff thats already there. then I'm going to be adding grass seed (fast growing stuff), Ideally I'd like daisys and buttercups in the grass as I love the look these two wildflowers add to grass.

Now when is the best time to sew the seeds for these? do I do it when I sew the grass seed or wait until the grass has established? (how long?), also where can I purchase these seeds, i've seen mixed wildflower seeds at the garden centre, but it's really specific wildflower seeds I'm after here

Ah-an enlightened soul, I have tried for ages to get hold of commercial daisy and buttercup seeds-I can`t get them, you need to collect them from the wild and it is a relatively easy job, you just collect when the flower has almost given up the ghost and is quite dry and shake the seed into an envelope, bring it home and scatter straight away. This is natures calender, follow her and you won`t go far wrong.

 

Nicky's Nurseries sells both buttercup and daisy seeds.
