    Quaedor36. Why can`t you have a bonfire? As long as it doesn`t cause a nuisance, the law says you can.:thumb:

    Thanks all for replying. I think I'm going to have to put my plants in my household rubbish now. The council will only take green rubbish away if you've paid for a special bin which I don't have the space for. It's a real pain.
    We seem to have lost our communal waste pile at my allotments too but we can have fires (except on Friday and Sunday i think) so time to access the secret pyromaniac in me.
