Somebody turned the heat off. It is 57f 12c and not predicted to get much warmer. Tonight we're possibly going down to 7c

Ooh, that’s becoming chilly @CanadianLori. It’s about 20 degrees C here this afternoon and a low of 14 degrees c through the night.

        That's a bit early.
I know its a couple of thousand miles away from you but I have family visiting west coast Canada and Alaska.
The weather looks pretty diabolical in that area.

I was away for the end of August so I haven't caught up with the August thread. There was a paltry 5mm in the gauge when I got back (although there might have been a bit of evaporation) bringing my August total to 18mm.

September started OK, 5mm rain yesterday and pleasant temperatures. I went to my parents' place and put another coat of fence paint on the front fence/gates - it was mostly dry there.

:yahoo: It is 28.4c now with a light breeze ... our high was 28,7c at 3 o'clock! I cannot remember when we haven't touched 30c. I might survive Summer. :love30:

After the good weather of the last few weeks it's taken a break today. Rain started last night and hasn't stopped since, so a very wet day. Tomorrow should bring the sunshine back. 14C/57F

Overcast all morning but the sun came out for a few hours this afternoon, temperature shot up to 25c for a while before it clouded over late afternoon.

                        Cloud seems to be variable.
We appear to have had a light shower in the night.
                        Over night low 17c.

Good morning just as I opened our living room window a light drizzle started, but the birds are chirping. Around 15c and expected sunny conditions after lunch.

That's dreadfully low for your rainfall @AuntyRach . Ours was just slightly higher....247mm. That's certainly a bit higher than usual though!
We had more rain yesterday than you had for that whole month. I check mine around this time of day, and by 6pm yesterday, we'd had 29mm since Monday morning. It barely stopped all day, and was heavy in early aftn.

Today was a damp start, but is brightening now. O'night low was 7 degrees [8 just now at approx. 7.35am] with a predicted high of 14. It's to be dry for most of the morning, then some rain later.

Yesterday was pretty duff [as mentioned] with a high of 16, so still very mild. The rain eased at about 6, and was light after that.

Hazy sun with a light breeze. At 7am we were 14c, now 15c and will be quickly moving up to the mid/high 20s. This is my sort of weather and I am sleeping like a log and oversleeping but that is good.
