Afternoon folks so I bought this standard daisy tree/ shrub in mid-summer from local garden centre for €10 and it gave us a second blossom of flowers. Now the season is ending and I would like to keep this over winter for next year so what advice or tips does anyone have?

I can store in my wooden garden shed. IMG_8892.jpg

I think they are Canary Marguerites (Argyranthemum frutescens subsp. canariae.)
If they are, they must be kept above 5C and won't survive frost, so may not survive in a shed.

Gonna try ad overwinter this guy in the shed, perhaps old newspapers around the based and top of the pot?

Definitely worth trying, given recent winters. I'm not sure how much light they may need in winter, so would probably wrap the pot as you say and use fleece on the top part, placing it near a window.

I've noticed one of these at a house across the road from me, I think it survived last winter there, but it was very mild and wet last year.
Put it near a house wall, a sunny one if you have it and only put it in the shed if less than minus 1 is forecast.
Then bring out during mild weather.
