What's your Weather Like October 2024

Much brighter today, and noticeably cooler, 8C, with a bit of breeze. Rain yesterday afternoon/evening/overnight, 4.5mm.

You know MI6 were saying earlier in the week that Russia and Iran are trying to cause chaos here. Maybe this is it. They thought "Those Brits are weather obsessed. Let's tamper with the BBC app to create panic and mayhem".

 

According to the BBC weather forecast page for this area we are to expect winds of 5,820 mph today and tomorrow

Ah ! I've just noticed it's everywhere

 

It is up to 38f 3c and there's lots of space for the sun between the clouds. The guessers say it is going up to 21c in your money, mid 70's F . Lovely.

I thought the guessers were always out of their predictions because they get the wind speed wrong and don't know when things will pass through - BBC just proved that theory beyond a doubt!

 

I'm glad I don't live near you. Forecast only shows 5,386 mph winds for our area. We normally do avoid the worst of the weather.

Expecting a frost now! But hardly any wind.

Well its been a day of drizzle mixed with light rain mostly, just seen some blue sky appearing from the north, so probably the wet will be followed by a really cold night.
It reached 13c but mostly around 11c all day, pretty dismal.

 

Wow, thanks for letting me know that the supersonic turbo storm outside with 15000 m/h is not real.
