Bare root roses, what should I expect

    I agree with @Sheal. Leave the rose and give it another year. It doesn't look too bad and David Austin roses often take 2 or 3 years to get going. Feed it and mulch it in early spring.

      Re refunds @Nickoslesteros, I think I saw DA mention their refunds don't cover blackspot, but if there are mitigating circumstances, it might not be a hard and fast policy. I realise you don't think there is really any blackspot on this rose. I hope it grows strong for you.
