Fiskars weed puller

I bought this:

Called a Speedy Weedy! it does a similar job. I'm somewhat disabled too, I avoid bending if I can. It works very well and was on sale when i bought it. My only criticism is that the holes it makes are a bit big.

 

that looks useful as well, i am plagued with back trouble and if i don`t stop and get wheat bag on back ,I end up in spasm which is 24 hours pure hell.
trouble is when you start a job if you have to stop ,still got tools etc to put away.

ordered delivery Wednesday

 

I was already placing an order and paying P&P. £14.46 is a good price but nearest Tesco direct to us is a 15+ mile round trip. I am still happy with it as it means I can be more help to the Mrs.

 

Its arrived Monday 2 days early ,and its p*****g down so can`t test it

 

Tesco Direct have put them back up to £28.92 and loads of other half price/better than half price gardening stuff has all gone back up again - must be the news that summer's due shortly.

 

put it through its paces, you have to be dead centre on weed or it doesn`t get root,but weeded border in quick time ,and found as a bonus it also mangles or stabs slugs

 

With referance to the hole they leave in the grass, I mix some top soil with grass seed in a small tub and pour that into the hole and tread it down.

 

As this is a 2012 thread I doubt if anybody posting before you @Little_Weed will see your suggestion.
