    Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum, but not completely new to gardening. For the last 20yrs we have had a maintenance free - Astro turf garden with a few potted plants here and there, but have just moved to a new (old) house with a substantial lawned back garden and lots of borders to maintain / improve, with some trees thrown into the mix.

I am looking forward to seeking the advice of all of the experts on here in the coming months, so thank you in advance :)

Welcome to Gardeners Corner Beatts. :) With the winter months on their way gardening will be more relaxed for you at the moment and give you the chance to take stock of the garden and perhaps some pruning. Come early spring you will see the first signs of life and hopefully some cheerful flowering bulbs too.
